How to record only when motion is detected

If you want to record when the camera detects movement, you can use the micro SD card or cloud to record. The SD card storage supports "Event Recording" and "Non-stop recording".

When you insert the micro SD card, please kindly turn on the local recording and choose the record mode according to your needs:

Open the app and click to enter the device;
Click the "..." which is in the top right corner of the live video interface;
Click the "Recording Settings";
Turn on the "Local Recording" and choose the event record.

The camera will then automatically record the video and you can click "playback" to view the recorded video.

Regarding the cloud, it needs to be purchased and activated. Open the app, enter the home interface and click cloud storage (or open the app and click "Cloud Storage"), then choose the plan according to your needs. When you purchase the event video of the cloud, as long as movement is detected, the cloud storage will automatically upload video.
